Faith. Trust. Hope. Believe.
All things work for the good.
Sometimes it's hard to keep an optimistic view of everything around you. It takes an enormous amount of self-psychoing to bring yourself to a point where you believe and trust and no doubt in your heart that God is in control.
People see the way you behave, the way you talk, the way you move and the way you act.
It's a slow way of understanding how the older folks can act and behave the way they do without any such 'childish', 'youthful', 'rebelling' moments.
It seems effortless for them to 'stand firm' and 'be bold and courageous'.
Such words sometimes fly past our heads and we crouch under the table of society's views and norms.
It's not quite accurate for people to say that youths today want to be different. Look at the youths today. They're different, but they're the same.
Don't get it?
They want to be different from the rest, they clothed differently, they try to find innovative ways of doing things (like how I once did the nail ring thing. I still do sometimes...) and how they talk different lingos. But then again, they're doing what other are doing. Following a trend.
Being a Christian? Being an 'alien' in this world?
Not easy, baybeh...
You'd have to have extra thick skin (Oh.... THAT'S how I got my thick elephant skin from!!!) to face what your friends will say about you.
Friends are important people. That's why your friends make the person you are.
